you know things are bad when you forget to eat breakfast, especially when you've prepared it already!

Today was Kelley's (hubby's) birthday, so I decided to get up this morning with Tessa and let him sleep.  While he's been unemployed, he's been watching Tessa some in the morning so I can eat my breakfast and drink my much needed morning coffee.  This morning, Tessa was up bright and early, 6:30 AM and running at full steam.  Eventually, I did make my coffee and I put some frozen pancakes in the microwave and nuked them and then succeeded in forgetting to eat them at all or eat any breakfast for that matter other than a cup of coffee.  I honestly thought I HAD eaten breakfast when I left home for the gym (our one luxury expense while hubby is unemployed), and I had so much trouble with my workout.  I chalked it up to just being tired and probably about to start my period, but I really struggled and couldn't manage weights at all and did think I felt unusually hungry afterwards.  When I got home from the gym, Kelley said, "I went to the donut store & got you some coffee & donuts.  I saw you didn't even have time to eat your pancakes."  I was about to say I'd eaten breakfast, but then it occurred to me I didn't actually remember eating it that morning and that I probably hadn't eaten.  Apparently, I'd left the pancakes in the microwave, totally forgotten.  Truly, I hope this is just fatigue and stress and maybe some forgetfulness due to PMS or something.  I've never so totally forgotten to eat a meal I'd prepared, even to the point where I thought I'd eaten it!  I'm sure having a high needs toddler such doesn't help matters any!
