I got my hair cut...short!
Sorry for the lack of updates going on. Stress in my life making me not want to post much about it.
Last weekend for Father's Day, we were at the mall, and I got my hair cut - short! Much shorter than I'd intended even, the stylist was just going at it with the scissors. I had told her to give me a bob and a shortish one, similar to profile pics I've had on here before, but I think she gave me the shortest bob possible. I've got no hair practically. I guess I look OK in this style, but it was not what I wanted & she gave me bangs, which I didn't want either, though it makes showering much easier (no hair drying required, it looks better air dried, makes for easy clean up after Tessa's swimming lessons which were last week and next week), and it's only hair, it will grow back, but in the meantime, it feels like a sort of severe look...sigh...Hubby got a digital picture frame for Father's Day and he downloaded some pics onto it, particularly some of me with Tessa in the bluebonnets earlier in the spring, and it really made me miss my long hair. I always scoffed at those girls on America's Next Top Model who fell apart when Tyra completely cut off their hair, but now I understand it a bit better although my feeling is if you're going onto that show, you need to be prepared for that outcome, and I was not at all.
